✨ Magic: The Gathering Prerelease

Be among the first to experience the newest Magic: The Gathering set at Papa Joey’s Collectibles!

Prerelease is your chance to open the new set, build a deck from your Prerelease Kit, and play with the cards before the set’s official release. Whether you’re a longtime Magic player or joining your first Prerelease, these events offer a fun and welcoming way to discover a brand-new set alongside the community.

🎴 Format

This event will use the Sealed format.

Each player will receive a Prerelease Kit containing the cards needed to build their deck. Players will open their kit, construct a 40-card minimum deck using the cards they open and any number of basic lands, then play in a series of Swiss rounds against other participants.

Basic lands will be available for deck construction as needed.

🎮 Before You Play

Please arrive early for check-in and deck construction and have your Wizards Account and the Magic: The Gathering Companion App ready for the event.

Players should be checked in and ready to participate by the event’s scheduled start time.

🏆 Prizing

Prizing is based on event attendance and available Wizards Play Network support for the Prerelease.
Additional details regarding participation and prize support will be provided at the event.
