Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a fast-paced 2D fighting game that combines characters, stages, and gameplay elements from the first three Mortal Kombat titles into one package, expanding on Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 with an updated roster and new features like Brutalities and the Aggressor meter. Players choose from a large cast of fighters, each with unique moves and finishing attacks, and battle through various modes including one-on-one, tournament, and exclusive 3-on-3 combat on the N64. While the Nintendo 64 version includes slightly fewer characters due to cartridge limits, it still delivers arcade-style action, secret unlockables, and classic Mortal Kombat gameplay centered on intense fights and iconic finishing moves.
