As always, arrive at least 30-90 minutes early to check in and ensure you're in the store 15 minutes prior for pairings. **Deckbuilding Rules: ** At least 30x non-Legend cards (the "main deck") The player chooses up to 3 colors for their main deck, and may only use cards in those 3 colors. (Ignore any RAM limits, both value and color) The player is welcome to use as many copies of a card as they want in their main deck. Exactly 3x Legend Cards Beta Event Kits include 3 guaranteed Legend cards, and the player may choose any Legends opened from their booster packs, too. Legend cards may be any color, regardless of which colors are in their deck. If the player sleeves their cards, their Legend card sleeves must be visually different from their main deck sleeves. While not required, we recommend the main deck includes at least 15 cards with a "sell tag," to make sure the player has enough resources to consistently play cards. (The sell tag is the €$ symbol in the top-left corner, beneath the card's cost.) Opened but unused cards act as a sideboard. Between matches, a player may choose to sideboard by swapping cards from their deck with any other cards in their wider pool, as long as they still follow all the deckbuilding rules outlined above. **Booking Policy ** To keep things fair and give everyone a chance to participate, please only book one spot per event. That means no double booking, including: 🎟️ Booking multiple spots for the same event 📅 Booking the same event on multiple days 🏪 Booking the same event at multiple Papa Joey’s locations Want another chance to play? No problem! Once the event sells out, stop by the store on the day of the event and join the in-store waitlist. If a spot opens up, we’ll get you in! Thanks for helping us give as many players as possible a chance to join the fun! 💛 ** Special Event Refund Policy ** All special event registrations are final and non-refundable. When you reserve a spot, that seat and any associated event product are committed to you and may prevent another player from registering. In the rare case that Papa Joey’s approves a refund, it will be issued as store credit only. Refund exceptions are handled on a case-by-case basis. 🚨 Our no-refund policy is not a workaround to receive event product. Showing up, collecting your event product, and then immediately dropping or leaving without meeting the event’s participation requirements will result in a ban from future special events at all Papa Joey’s locations. **Please only register if you plan to participate! 💛💙 ** When you reserve a spot, please come ready to play and stick around! Early drops create byes, disrupt the event, and can take a limited spot away from another player. For events with 3 or more Swiss rounds, players must complete at least 2 rounds. Dropping before completing Round 2 may result in being blacklisted from future special events at all Papa Joey’s locations. We understand emergencies happen, and those situations will be reviewed case by case. **Deck-Building Events:** Once you participate in deck building, you must complete at least Round 1.
